Position Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Ex-Serviceman for the role of Security Officer at a prestigious IT industry client site in Whitefield, Bengaluru. The role demands hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and proactive coordination to ensure the highest standards of corporate security, safety, and client satisfaction.
This position requires a native Kannadiga with strong English communication skills, excellent physical fitness, and proven experience in the corporate IT security environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Command & Leadership
- Act as the operational lead, ensuring complete compliance with G4S protocols and client-specific SOPs.
- Maintain a strong, visible presence at the site to inspire team discipline and build client confidence.
- Lead daily operations, ensuring guards follow all post duties and site-specific instructions (SSIs).
2. Team Supervision
- Directly supervise Security Supervisors and Guards, ensuring punctuality, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct daily briefings, uniform inspections, and readiness checks.
- Address absenteeism, grievances, and performance shortfalls professionally and promptly.
3. Client Liaison
- Serve as the primary contact for the clients security team and management.
- Attend scheduled client meetings to review performance, address concerns, and share security updates.
- Maintain high standards of customer service in all interactions.
4. Operational Management
- Oversee access control, patrolling, visitor management, and CCTV monitoring.
- Supervise movement of materials, vehicles, contractors, and staff in line with security protocols.
- Coordinate closely with the clients facilities and security departments for seamless operations.
5. Incident Response
- Lead the security team during emergencies such as theft, fire, medical incidents, or safety breaches.
- Implement evacuation protocols and manage crowd control when required.
- Prepare detailed incident reports supported by logs, photos, and witness statements.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate shift logs, visitor registers, material movement records, and incident reports.
- Submit weekly performance summaries and manpower deployment reports to management.
- Ensure all statutory records (PF, ESI, muster rolls) are updated and ready for audits.
7. Training & Compliance
- Conduct refresher training, mock drills, and skill development for all security staff on site.
- Enforce G4S grooming, behavior, and discipline standards at all times.
- Support compliance teams during inspections, audits, and client reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality/Language: Native Kannadiga only fluent in Kannada and English (spoken), able to communicate confidently with IT professionals and clients.
- Education: Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
- Experience:
- Ex-Serviceman (Army, Navy, Air Force, or equivalent) compulsory.
- Minimum 34 years of corporate security experience in the IT industry.
- Age: Maximum 45 years strictly enforced.
- Physical Fitness: Excellent health and stamina, with professional appearance.
- Location Preference: Must reside near or be willing to relocate close to V K Tech Park, Whitefield for reliable commuting.

Working Conditions
- Site-based role; 8/12-hour shifts as per duty roster.
- 6-day work week or rotational off.
- Uniform, ID card, and duty gear provided by G4S.
- PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and leave benefits as per statutory norms.
Compensation & Benefits
- Cash in Hand: 43,000 per month.
- Statutory benefits: PF, ESI, gratuity, leave entitlement.
