Designation : FC Manager
Location : Bangalore
Reports To : Lead - Operations
Experience : 10+ years of warehousing experience in heading and managing Inbound/Outbound operations in an ecommerce or a large complex environment. Should have managed a work group of at least 10 warehouse at mid level personnel
Qualification : Any Graduate from a good Institution,
Post Graduation in Logistic/Warehousing/Operations/Supply Chain.
Six Sigma knowledge and working experience
Nature of Role : Candidates with strong leadership skill, analytical & problem solving skills, Good People management skills, Strong in networking, Systems knowledge, product & process understanding etc. Working knowledge of MS office and good knowledge of ERP.
Job Description:
- Manage the Inbound/Outbound warehousing operations at his region. Support and be part of expansion and growth planned for the region, with effective use of technology in the entire operations.
- Manage Total Inbound/Outbound Operating Cost and Service Performance.
- Ensure safe working environment at the warehouse.
- Ensure Inventory management with minimum deviations.
- Should be able to handle various product categories including Food & Grocery, General Merchandise etc.
- Set the strategies and oversee execution to optimize Warehousing cost, efficiency & productivity by identifying continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
- Should be able to identify and address operational bottle necks instantly.
- Responsible for driving and achieving targets for key Inbound KPIs such as Receiving, Putaway, Order processing, Last Mile Delivery, Inventory Accuracy. Should be able to meet end to end turnaround time as per the KPIs defined and work on enhancing Warehouse efficiency & productivity.
- Responsible for analyzing and presenting warehousing Cost & Service performance trends.
- Focuses on design and development of new outbound process to manage the growing volumes.
- Improve productivity in FC through development of robust and effective operational best practices.
- Follow Standard operating procedures and policies (SOP&P) for warehousing domain.
- Meet the profitability goals and successfully lead the team to achieve the organizational goals.
- Continuously ensure usage of Material Handling Equipments to enhance operations
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all the requirement of regulatory licenses and labor law are followed.
