Job Description

Role & responsibilities

- Expertise in GE Smallworld Core Spatial Technology and Magik programming.
- Strong understanding of telecom network data models, including fiber, coaxial, and wireless infrastructure.
- Proficiency in integrating GE Smallworld with OSS/BSS systems and third-party data sources.
- Experience with geospatial data analysis tools, including FME, QGIS, or ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and API integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on spatial data optimization.

Preferred candidate profile

- Architect and develop GE Smallworld-based solutions for telecom network management, ensuring robust integration with existing OSS/BSS systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of geospatial data models to support network planning, asset management, and service delivery.
- Develop advanced spatial queries and tools to analyze telecom network data effectively.
- Implement data migration, synchronization, and version control processes for geospatial data.
- Collaborate with data engineers, GIS analysts, and telecom engineers to integrate GE Smallworld solutions with third-party applications.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing GE Smallworld applications.
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions to upskill junior developers in GE Smallworld development practices.
