Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utilities, and roadways. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure all designs meet regulatory standards, project specifications, and deadlines.
Develop and prepare civil designs such as site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
Create accurate CAD drawings and maintain project-related documentation.
Conduct site assessments and perform technical calculations.
Ensure design compliance with applicable codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform quality checks and address design inconsistencies or technical issues.
Stay informed of industry trends, tools, and best practices through continued learning.
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior experience in civil design, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm.
Strong grasp of civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.
Experience in grading, drainage, and utility design.
Ability to perform engineering calculations and analyze site conditions.
Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D , or MicroStation .
Familiarity with GIS tools and hydraulic modeling software is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A team-oriented mindset and a proactive work ethic.
