Job Description


The Manager-Operations will oversee and optimise end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient processes, adherence to quality standards, and seamless customer experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a data-driven approach to managing workflows.

A. Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to achieve performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
B. Process Management
  • Monitor and improve supply chain, logistics, and vendor management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
  • Establish and track KPIs for operational performance.
C. Customer Support & Experience
  • Collaborate with the team to address and resolve escalations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
D. Collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, technology, and finance teams to streamline operations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align on objectives and deliverables.

Skills Set Requirement
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with registered suppliers to ensure continuous engagement and responsiveness.
  • Rate Collection and Competitiveness: Ensure suppliers provide competitive and accurate rates that meet buyer requirements.
  • Document Management: Efficiently collect and manage necessary documents from suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Order Status Communication: Effectively communicate order status to suppliers and ensure timely follow-up actions.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Maintain accurate and timely reporting of supplier activities and engagement metrics.
  • Supplier Onboarding and Training: Facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers and ensure they are well-trained on using the platform.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and vendor management.
  • The candidate must have experience in the agro commodities sector or possess strong knowledge of agro-based platforms
  • Proficiency in operational tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, CRM tools).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
