Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- This is a Techno-functional application support role for all 3rd party systems.
- The role will require the person to communicate (both verbal & written) with external partners, internal users & business verticals for day to day support of systems, data analysis, audit etc.
- Will be required to monitor, analyze and manage logs to resolve issues, provide RCAs and fixes.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, infrastructure, and vendors.
- Maintain and update support documentation, knowledge base.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues and risks.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to report on project status, escalate issues, and manage expectations.
- Being a financial institution , the applications are available 24X7 hence it is expected that the candidate should be open to work across shifts.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2 to 3 years of experience primarily in IT application support roles.
- Strong communications skills, both written & Verbal.
- Good knowledge of SQL for querying databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
- Good understanding of Project Management Methods.
- Prior experience in analyzing logs, metrics & monitoring systems, databases.
- Should have basic knowledge of Cloud computing.
- Understanding of ITIL process.
