Job Description
- As an Automation Tester, your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using .NET and Selenium WebDriver to ensure the quality of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for test case development. Additionally, you will perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report software defects and inconsistencies. Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks and test data sets to support ongoing testing efforts will also be part of your role. You will participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy development to ensure effective test coverage. Working closely with developers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner is essential. Documenting and communicating test results and providing feedback to stakeholders will also be a key aspect of your job. To qualify for this position, you should have proven experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on C# and Selenium. Strong programming skills in C# and familiarity with the .NET framework are required. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing is essential. Knowledge of test automation best practices and design patterns is a must. Experience in test case management tools and version control systems is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail will be beneficial in this role. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also important for effective team interaction.,
