Job Description

    As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will involve actively supporting the consulting team throughout various project phases. This includes tasks such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be tasked with exploring alternatives to recommended solutions based on thorough research, including literature surveys, information from public domains, vendor evaluations, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for building Proof of Concepts (POCs). Your role will also require you to create requirement specifications based on business needs, define processes, and develop detailed functional designs according to the requirements. You will support in configuring solution requirements on products, identifying and diagnosing any issues, determining root causes, seeking clarifications, and shortlisting solution alternatives. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. In terms of technical requirements, you should have a minimum of 3 years of development experience in implementing Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB). Proficiency in Java, SQL, HQL, XML, JSON, Oracle Database, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), JavaScript, RESTful API, Web Services, and SOAP is essential. Expertise in Oracle Utilities Application Framework components such as MO, BO, Business Service, Business component, Service Scripts, Plug-In Scripts, BPA Scripts, Zones, UI Map, Portals, and SQ rule Rate configuration is required. Experience in working with Algorithm Batch Jobs, Change Handlers, Business Entities, developing batch interfaces for ORMB, integrating ORMB with external applications and online customer portals is also necessary. An understanding of OBIEE or other reporting tools would be considered an advantage. Apart from the aforementioned responsibilities, you should demonstrate the ability to work with clients to identify business challenges, refine, analyze, and structure relevant data for client deliverables. Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and trends, possessing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaborative abilities are essential. You should be able to assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend suitable technology solutions. Having knowledge in one or two industry domains will be a plus.
