Job Description
- As a Manager at DataStub, you will play a vital role in managing foreign accounting operations, demonstrating the ability to develop and lead a high-performing team for multi-country finance & accounting operations, month-end closures, and financial reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing the work of Lead accountants, ensuring timely sales tax return filings, preparing financial reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasting reports. You will also be involved in managing the team of Lead accountants, Sr. accountants, and Associate accountants, providing mentorship, conducting training, effective communication, resolution of queries, maintaining SOPs, workpapers, and documentation of processes, making recommendations for improvements, and owning internal and external reporting dashboards. Your role will require effective work planning for accurate & timely deliverables and managing additional project-related responsibilities and ad hoc requests. To excel in this role, you are expected to have an M.COM /Inter CA/ MBA/CA qualification with CPA qualification being advantageous. You should have 8-15 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in US accounting, including at least 1 year of experience as a manager in US accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, particularly US GAAP, is essential. Candidates with experience in setting up Multi-country Finance Operations, process management, month-end close, and financial reporting processes are preferred. Additionally, you should have experience in team development and management, international assignments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, QuickBooks, and ERP systems like Bill.com, Odoo, Netsuite, Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, decision-making and logical skills, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to driving results. Additional skills such as the ability to work independently, exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, aspiration, and self-learning abilities are highly valued.
