Job Description
- As a Software Tester at our company located in Jayanagar, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of mobile, web, CRM, and complex applications through both manual and automation testing. Working closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all applications are thoroughly tested and meet the required quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, preparing detailed test plans and test cases, conducting manual testing for web, mobile, and CRM applications to assess functionality, usability, and performance. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and execute automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or JMeter as per project requirements. Furthermore, you will be involved in API testing, regression testing, and system integration testing for complex applications. Tracking, logging, and managing bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve defects, verify fixes, preparing test documentation, participating in release readiness, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are also essential aspects of this role. To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle, hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications, basic automation knowledge with Selenium WebDriver/Appium, and familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman. Experience in testing CRM applications, along with good analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are also required. Preferred tools and technologies for this role include bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, and basic SQL knowledge for database testing. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in software testing encompassing both manual and basic automation testing.
