Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor in the civil and hydro mechanical domain, your primary responsibilities will involve conducting and verifying quantities of work executed at the site. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating measurement books (MBs) to ensure alignment with approved drawings and site execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and validating Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills, ensuring timely submission with proper documentation. Cost control and reconciliation will be a key aspect of your role, where you will support in cost estimation, budgeting, and reconciling quantities and values. Tracking and reporting variations, extra items, and deviations from the contract scope will also fall under your purview. It will be essential to ensure that billing and quantity surveying activities comply with contractual terms, technical specifications, and project timelines. Coordination with site engineers, planning, and procurement teams will be necessary to ensure billing accuracy. Maintaining comprehensive records for audits, reviews, and internal controls will be crucial for the successful execution of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering on a regular basis. For BE/B.Tech holders, a minimum of 8 years of experience is required, while Diploma holders should have at least 11 years of experience in PSP/Hydro projects. Familiarity with different structures (open & underground) of PSP/Hydro projects will be an added advantage.,
