Job Description
We are hiring Sr Database Engineers, Selected resource is expected to work at customer location, Hyderabad.Job Type: C2H Time required to join: Immediate to 20 Days.

Responsibilities:Assist in design and development of database systems.
Optimize database systems for performance and reliability.
Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Test database systems and perform bug fixes.
- Provide database solutions based on technical documents and business requirements.
- Develop database functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
- Provide technical assistance to resolve all database issues related to performance, capacity and access.
- Ensure data integrity and quality in database systems.
- Maintain standard policies for database development activities.
- Own product features, maintenance and support from the back-end AWS, CouchDB, Julia, and async batch processes
Manage data and ETL processes
Improve internal code structure through refactoring, reviewing code, writing tests, and addressing technical debt
Identify, log, and fix bugs, including in-depth testing of new features
Share technical knowledge with other team members, collaborate on tasks, and give appropriate feedback
Collaborate with product managers to define scope of work of backlog and maintenance items.
Collaborate with scrum master to estimate and track work in progress.
Requirements:Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Database administration, with at least 2 years of experience managing database on Cloud, preferably with Postgresql
Strong command of SQL
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
At least 2 years of experience with NoSQL databases on Cloud environment
Experience in creating and managing ETL pipeline with Python
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
