Job Description
- You should have a deep understanding of core Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) functionality, best practices, and design patterns. Additionally, you must be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development, with experience in responsive design principles. Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Cloud Database integration is advantageous. Experience with REST and SOAP web services is necessary, along with an understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices in software development. You should have at least 5 years of experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Oracle products, and 2-3 years of experience specifically with Oracle VBCS. Your technical expertise should include designing and developing robust VBCS applications, translating wireframes and high-level designs into functional, responsive code for web and mobile platforms, testing, debugging, and maintaining VBCS applications for optimal performance, integrating VBCS solutions with other technologies and services, and staying updated on the latest VBCS features and industry trends. Client focus is important, and you should collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, design and present compelling solution proposals showcasing VBCS capabilities, conduct solution demos and proof-of-concept workshops, prepare accurate project estimates aligned with client budgets and Infosys guidelines, and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting throughout project lifecycles. Teamwork and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work effectively with internal teams, contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives, communicate project progress and potential roadblocks, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, client-facing skills with a strong customer focus, and desirable project management skills. Experience with other Oracle Middleware technologies and knowledge of industry-specific VBCS applications or business domains will be beneficial for this role.,
