Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the assigned projects. The role will be accountable to manage and deliver the objectives as per the agreed schedule without compromising the quality.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define Business objectives/goals for the client delivery.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define the scope for the delivery and communicate to the project team members.
- Monitor and control the project progress to ensure they are on track.
- Work closely with cross functional teams
- Maintain project matrix and communicate the project progress report to internal stakeholders and clients on a defined frequency (weekly/Monthly)
- Proactively identify project risk and define the mitigation plan by working with stakeholders. Document and maintain risk log.
- Other department specific duties as assigned.
- Open to work in late shift as needed on rotation basis.
Required Skill sets:
Must have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Project management background
- Ability to handle multiple small to medium size projects simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of any one of the PPM tool such as MS Project online or Jira.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Project management
- Excellent analytical skills.
Good to have:
- Scrum or PMP certification
- Good knowledge of productivity tools such as Jira and/or Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and process
- Experience in ZOHO
