Job Description

The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is seeking a dedicated individual to join as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in the Dept. of Robotics & AI. Located in Kolkata, UEM provides an international environment with innovative teaching techniques and job market-oriented courses. As a faculty member, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lectures in Computer Science related subjects and mentoring students to excel in their academic pursuits. Ideal candidates for this role should possess advanced knowledge and teaching experience in Computer Science, holding a BE/B.Tech & M.Tech in CSE. A strong research background with a proven track record of publications is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should demonstrate a commitment to student mentoring and academic counseling, while being proficient in utilizing modern teaching technologies and methodologies. In addition to academic responsibilities, you will be expected to actively participate in academic meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in departmental activities and outreach programs. The ability to collaborate effectively with faculty members and contribute to a positive academic environment is crucial. A Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant field would be advantageous, along with prior experience in teaching or research environments.
