Job Description
- As a Web Developer at Creative Saints, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of web development. Your role will include responding to requests for proposals, writing and submitting proposals, developing and managing websites, providing training to clients as needed, and overseeing other staff or interns. The majority of projects at Creative Saints involve developing and managing websites on the Joomla! Content Management System, as well as some projects that are HTML/CSS and PHP/MYSQL based. You will be expected to possess essential skills such as AJAX, ASP, ASP.net, Java, and a good sense of humor. Additionally, bonus skills like semantic, valid (X)HTML, cross-browser compatible CSS-driven layouts, structured and commented PHP, and relational MySQL for e-commerce, authentication, or content management are desired. Key Responsibilities: - Handling customer requirements, unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. - Remaining open-minded and willing to change opinions based on new information. - Demonstrating a minimum of 6 months of experience with Joomla or PHP programming. - Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Fluency in English. - Possession of Zend Certifications is a plus. Your tasks will include: - Developing, managing, and maintaining websites. - Writing code in PHP, HTML, and CSS. - Managing and developing databases. - Setting up hosting accounts and installing databases and Joomla. - Troubleshooting and reviewing work. - Managing proposals and operations, including writing reports and attending meetings.
