Job Description
Job SummaryThe Telecounselor is a part of the admissions team and helps recruit our next freshman and transfer class. They report directly to the Telecounseling Coordinator or to the Student Supervisors in the coordinators absence.
Responsibilities and Duties
They are responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Make outbound calls to recruit prospective students from the point of inquiry to matriculation.
- Speak and convince the parents, students or guradians for admissions, counsel them about the various courses, syllabus, fee structure we offer.
- Becoming very familiar with the software to be as efficient and knowledgeable as possible when making calls.
- Follow up with any situations that may require additional information or help from either the student supervisors or the Telecounseling Coordinator.
- Write personalized postcards to prospective students.
- Seek to consistently expand knowledge of University academic and extracurricular programs to be able to counsel students within their area of interest and provide correct information regarding such areas.
- Complete all other assignments given by the student supervisor or coordinator.
- Achieve the goals assigned in a timely manner.
- The candidate need to have a laptop/Desktop and Internet connection.
