Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transition Manager to lead and deliver large-scale IT transition projects across multiple geographies and service towers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales solutioning, stakeholder management, and end-to-end transition delivery.
Role & responsibilities
Sales / Pre-Sales
- Architect and shape transition solutions for large deals.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed transition strategies, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with bid teams, solution analysts, and architects to develop winning proposals.
- Participate in client orals, due diligence, and BAFO presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to mandated processes and procedures.
Transition Project Delivery
- Lead transition projects for large engagements with multi-tower and multi-geography scope.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of transition responsibilities.
- Manage knowledge transfer and ensure smooth handover from project phase to Hypercare and BAU.
- Monitor project effectiveness through regular reporting and metrics.
- Identify scope changes and revenue opportunities.
General Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach transition team members.
- Drive internal initiatives focused on process improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and training programs.
- Regularly review and enhance transition methodologies.
- Provide leadership oversight on organizational initiatives.
- Actively participate in performance reviews and share learnings.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience managing complex IT transition projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of application management and transition services.
- Experience in team leadership and delivery management.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Certifications: ITIL V3 (required), PMP / Prince2 (desirable), Agile (desirable).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Proactive and self-driven approach
