Summary 7 years of experienceIn this role, you pride yourself on staying at the cutting edge of UI design and development. You are equally comfortable creating an interactive prototype, and developing maintainable CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML, and JavaScript. You believe that semantic markup, web accessibility and performance optimization are musthaves on every page you deliver, and you devour articles describing ways to improve the quality of the user experience. 68 years of experience in developing frontend code for an enterprise content management system (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore).ResponsibilitiesProduce great frontend code. You enjoy producing clean, easytoread, semantic HTML markup and CSS, adhering to W3C specs and best practices. Youre skilled at architecting modular, maintainable, and extensible CSS code. (Deep experiences with SASS a major plus.) Youre also deeply familiar with jQuery and the best plugins.Leverage modular CSS methodologies like BEM, OOCSS Develop new userfacing features based on provided designs and style system Build reusable code and libraries for future use Optimize frontend pages for maximum speed and scalability, with a focus on Core Web Vitals Ensure pages adhere to accessibility standards specifically WCAG 2.2 AA conformanceAssure that all user input is validated before submitting to backend Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Ensure the application scales well across browsers (Cross Browser Testing) Build UI components using Storybook. Experience in using Figma a plusKey capabilities Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 Proficient understanding of core web vitals and techniques for optimizing page load times Strong knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap framework and Responsive Design using media jQuery Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate UI components into a content management system Basic understanding of AEMs Sightly/HTLProficient in using Font, icons and implement using CSS3 Conduct thorough testing of UI components to ensure compatibility and adherence to quality standards. Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for developed UI components. Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and project managers. Experience in Agile development is a plusEducationBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Adobe Experience Cloud related certifications preferred.
