Responsibilities:
- Create test plans, requirements, scenarios, test data for use during testing new and existing features.
- Responsible for quality & performance of web based ecommerce applications.
- Created QA reports and bugs based on the outcome of QA test cycles.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases
- Provide constant feedback to developers and product managers based on test outcomes
- Perform Front-end testing of web applications and automation using Cypress
- Write SQL/No Sql queries for data validation and other db testing activities
- Experience in testing using AI tools is a good to have and will be an added plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ Years of Experience in QA/SDET
- Experience using web-based testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver)
- Experience using project tracking software considered a strong asset (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience using test case management tools like Zephyr
- Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) would be considered an asset
- Solid understanding of process metrics and manual testing
- Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks
- Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture
- Experience in SQL/NoSQL
- Experience in AI-based testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools) will be an added advantage
- Exposure to workflow automation tools like n8n/lindy etc is a plus
