Job Description
- To oversee the entire operational and functional responsibilities of the both IP and OP Pharmacy outlets within the hospital.
- To ensure and guide executive or supervisor in keeping all work stations are adequately manned with appropriate head count on shift basis every day.
- To monitor the functioning of entire business operations, sale in outlets, Doctors critical queries on a daily basis and shall reported to Functional Head then and there.
- To maintain a good rapport with the Hospital operations team and Clinicians for creating a better service experience to patient and their feedback to leverage goodwill.
- To provide an error free drug therapy to patients by ensuring promptness both in bill and prescribed quantity during the process of dispensing medicine.
- Delegate the special assignments for every staff and to conduct periodical meeting with all executive and supervisory level.
- Execute Quality Improvement plan, Implementation of value added services like Help counters etc and to follow service standards at all levels.
- To coordinate between the pharmacy operations and the clinical audit team periodically, if the managers consistent attention is necessitated shall preside over.
- To compliance with all the statutory bodies that are related with operating the pharmacy business and other formalities associated with it.
- To implement Standard Operating Procedures and that are rightly followed by all levels of staff in the pharmacy division.
- To identify dispensing errors and SOP deviations; to perform RCA and CAPA.
- To have a random check of Emergency crash carts, Stores, Floor stock reports etc.
- To ensure all the support resource like storage facility, Infrastructure for stocking, logistics support system etc are in place for timely delivery of goods to end-user.
- To make sure that adequate quantity of life saving drugs are kept under managerial responsibility and shall be issued duly following the prescribed parameters.
- To share and analyse the customer feedback form and make corrective measures to curtail those setback then and there within the functional team.
- To keep the management informed about the solution derived in terms of customer complaint or feedback received from time to time.
- Takes care the fullest responsibility for Drug Recall with proper evidences followed.
- A common staff meeting shall be conducted with regards to clarifying staff concern and operational difficulty at work.
- Coordinate with Training department in improving staffs work efficiency and there by resulted to obtain complete customer satisfaction.
- To encourage all departmental training and quality initiative measures that is in practice across locations.
- To practice business ethics and diplomacy at all levels that they are dealing in their day to day transactions both with internal and external customers.
