Job Description

The Network L3 Engineer is a senior-level technical role responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of complex network infrastructures. This position involves handling escalated issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing high-level projects, and ensuring overall network performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for network-related issues escalated from L1 and L2 teams.

  • Analyze and resolve high-impact incidents and problems.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

• Network Design & Implementation

  • Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud networking solutions.

  • Lead network upgrade and migration projects.

  • Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams and documentation.

• Network Performance & Monitoring

  • Monitor network performance and reliability using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.

  • Optimize network performance through traffic analysis and fine-tuning.

• Security & Compliance

  • Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and access controls.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
