Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with domain expertise in Life Insurance, particularly with experience in Life Asia or related systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for functional and manual testing of life insurance applications, ensuring seamless business processes such as new business, policy issuance, and policy servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of life insurance applications, specifically Life Asia and related modules.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure application quality aligns with business requirements.
- Test end-to-end workflows related to new business, policy issuance, policy servicing, and other core insurance operations.
- Prepare and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test data.
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers and business analysts for resolution.
- Participate in reviews of business requirements and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for UAT support, requirement clarification, and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 25 years of experience in manual testing in the insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with Life Asia, AS400, and/or Ingenium platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of life insurance processes (new business, policy servicing, policy issuance).
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to software testing best practices and methodologies.
- ISTQB or other testing certifications.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
