Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for an Observability Engineer (Dashboarding & Analytics Developer) with 8+ years of extensive experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards that provide real-time insights into the performance of LLMs. Retrieval Augmented Generation systems, safety mechanisms, other generative AI features, billing, token consumption, etc.
Requirements:
- Responsible for the visualization and development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are critical to monitoring and enhancing the performance of our generative AI systems.
- Must have technical domain experience in AI LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, safety mechanisms, other generative AI features, billing, token consumption and many more.
- Familarity with Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, Splunk.
- Understanding of Programming Languages such as Python, JQL, SPL.
- Proficient in Data Query Languages such as SQL .
- Expertise in Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP (Likely if Auto-Scaling is a key responsibility)
- Experience in Monitoring Tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch (AWS) and Azure Monitor.
- Expertise in Version Control Systems such as Git.
- In-depth knowledge about ticketing Systems such as Jira, Zendesk and ServiceNow.
- Familarity with logging tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Splunk.
- Proficient in CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI and GitHub Actions .
- Designing , developing and maintaining interactive the user-friendly dashboards for monitoring AI system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement KPIs related to LLMs, RAG systems, safety protocols and other AI features.
- Create clear and insightful visualizations that communicate complex data trends and patterns effectively to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor AI system metrics to identify anomalies, performance issues and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists and product managers to align dashboard functionalities with project goals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and analytics to introduce innovative solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of dashboard configurations, data sources and visualization methodologies.
