Job Description
- As a member of our software engineering team, you will be part of a versatile, collaborative, and supportive group that thrives on solving challenging puzzles. Your role will involve working on a diverse range of features with each release, allowing you to continuously expand your skills. For instance, you may find yourself involved in developing a backend aggregation algorithm for customer notifications in one sprint, and then focusing on a navigation revamp for the web and responsive experience in the next. Your responsibilities will include staying updated on the latest developments in web applications and programming languages, updating work schedules, and troubleshooting issues as needed. Transparency is key within our team, so you will be expected to openly communicate any challenges, failures, and successes. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and fixing bugs to enhance the user experience and platform stability. Automation will be a vital aspect of your work, as you will develop and implement automated tests to ensure the quality and ongoing reliability of the features you work on. Collaboration is at the core of our team, and you will closely work with other developers and team members to address customer issues using cutting-edge technologies. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 2 years of industry experience in software development using PHP or Angular, along with at least 1 year of experience with the Laravel framework. A solid understanding of web technologies and distributed systems is essential, as well as working knowledge in JavaScript and front-end JS frameworks. Proficiency in SQL databases like MySQL and NoSQL data storage solutions such as MongoDB is also required. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket will be beneficial. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong software engineering, design, and architecture skills. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a fresher with a can-do attitude, a relentless desire to improve both the quality and quantity of your work is crucial.
