Job Description
- As the APAC Services Operations and Resource Management Director at Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, resource optimization, and strategic initiatives within the APAC region. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring alignment with global strategies and policies while overseeing services operations and resource management. You will play a key role in defining and leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve margins, and optimize resource management at both zone and regional levels. Proactively providing updates on global policy and best practices to ensure alignment with Siemens DISW's strategy will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will develop and lead services activities to ensure staffing aligns with business initiatives while contributing to the global services strategy debate. Your role will involve ensuring the adoption of Professional Service Automation systems across APAC countries with data integrity, overseeing the Order-to-Cash process, and maintaining effective reporting systems. Monitoring actuals and forecasts against the Annual Operating Plan at the Zone level will also be essential. In terms of resource management, you will lead the APAC Resource Management community, work on improving billable utilization, and handle resource request escalations. Maintaining an overview of available skill sets within the Zone and managing subcontractors will also be part of your duties. Compliance and governance will be crucial aspects of your role, where you will ensure all business activities meet organizational quality, compliance, health and safety, legal, and environmental policies. Upholding Siemens compliance guidelines and policies will be a key responsibility. You will also provide guidance on training, mentoring, and people development initiatives to country services directors, supporting the performance management process and annual headcount planning. Fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence while upholding Siemens" values and reputation across markets will be crucial. This role may require travel (10%-30%) and adherence to core hours as necessary, respecting local legislation and company policies. Requirements: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience: 15+ years in the software services or related industry, with 10+ years in service operations and 5+ years in resource management. - Certifications: RMCP certification is a plus. - Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus. - Key Skills: Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, ability to drive results independently, work in a multi-cultural environment, handle vendors, resources, and large-scale software services operations.
