Job Description
- You are invited to apply for the position of Junior Research Fellow for a project funded by the Ministry of Defence at Mahindra University, Hyderabad. This position is in an interdisciplinary field that combines Numerical Simulations and Machine Learning. As a prospective candidate, you should hold an M.E / M.Tech degree from a reputable institution in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with a solid background in Computational Fluid Dynamics. While prior knowledge in Machine Learning is advantageous, candidates without this background will receive the necessary training on the job. The selected candidate will be engaged in a Research & Development role focusing on Physics Informed Neural Networks. You will be encouraged to pursue a Ph.D. degree concurrently in an interdisciplinary field that encompasses Fluid Dynamics and Deep Learning. The project is expected to span three years, but you may continue until the completion of work leading to a doctoral thesis. The remuneration for this position is Rs. 25K per month, along with complimentary boarding and lodging in the Mahindra University campus hostels. Your base of operations will be the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (ECSE) at Mahindra University, which is the flagship school of the University and maintains research partnerships with the Ecole Centrale Group of Institutions in France. This project offers collaborative opportunities with Nvidia and esteemed Space and Defence Research Institutions in India.
