Job Description
- Under the direct supervision of the Consultant, Registrars are responsible for the in-patient and out-patient management of patients in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Shares the responsibility for Antenatal Care, Labour Ward cover, Gynaecological Out-Patient Clinics, Theatre sessions and emergency duties.
- Responsibility for administrative duties (e.g. review of results of investigations, patient records) which arise as a consequence of these clinical duties.
- Undertake responsibility for the admissions and day to day care of women admitted / referred to the maternity and gynaecological department under consultant supervision.
- Appropriately deal with obstetrical or gynaecological problems in other areas e.g. the Accident and Emergency Department or other wards in the hospital in related cases.
- Must work in flexible 24 hour shifts.
- Assist in covering for unexpected absence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should possess MBBS + MS - OBG / DGO / DNB degree recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Should possess minimum 1 year relevant experience if DGO.
- Candidate should remain flexible to work in rotational shifts.
- Candidates / Aspirants ready to work at /relocate to Mysore on their own can also apply.
