The engineering teams at Qualcomm heavily rely on the latest High-Performance Computing (HPC) technologies to design and develop new products using electronic design automation (EDA) tools. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art HPC technologies and gain experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant software solutions deployed on some of the largest supercomputing infrastructures globally. As a member of the Engineering Data Analytics and Applications team (EDAAP) at Qualcomm, you will be tasked with developing software solutions that enable High-Performance Compute grids and large-scale, distributed analytical applications. Your work will involve optimizing HPC infrastructure, managing hardware IP systems, developing petabyte-scale cloud data platforms, and creating machine learning solutions and pipelines. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality software solutions to manage compute environments, including compute grids, EDA licenses, storage, data synchronization, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced software developer proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks, parallel programming, efficient algorithms and data structures, design patterns, and task automation through tools and scripting. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing high-quality software for HPC infrastructure, creating reusable components and libraries, monitoring and upgrading existing applications, maintaining technical documentation, performing code reviews, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues effectively. The ideal candidate will possess over 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java/J2EE, and Angular, expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, software lifecycle management, version control, coding, and CI/CD best practices. Exposure to AI and ML technologies is advantageous, along with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly, work well in a team, and hold a degree in Computer Science, Computational Science, or a related field.,
