Job Title: Marketing Manager Civil Engineering
Location: Hyderabad & Mumbai
Department: Building Materials Division, Architectural Expansion Joints, Couplers, Pre-stressing, Post-Tensioning
Reporting To: Head Marketing/Sales & Business Development Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to lead the marketing and business development efforts for our Building Materials /AEJ and Special Products Division. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a proven ability to drive sales and market presence in the construction and infrastructure domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote building materials and special structural products across infrastructure and construction projects.
- Identify and engage potential clients including contractors, consultants, and government departments.
- Understand project specifications, drawings, and requirements; propose technically suitable solutions aligned with company offerings.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams for customization, technical submittals, and approval processes.
- Represent the company in client meetings, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Prepare marketing presentations, product brochures, and project-specific proposals.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery, technical support, and post-sales service.
- Maintain CRM data, prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, and business pipeline.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- MBA in Marketing or Similar Post Graduation
Experience: Minimum 24 years of experience in technical marketing, business development, or product sales in construction / infrastructure / building materials sector.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of building materials, civil construction techniques, and special structural components.
- AutoCAD proficiency preferred ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-driven with strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
Preferred Industry Exposure:
- Bridge and building construction, precast components, bearings, expansion joints, or other specialized civil engineering products.
