Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Public Relations professional who can strengthen our media presence, craft impactful narratives, and enhance visibility for the CarDekho Group and its leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong media relations, content development skills, and a deep understanding of how to position a brand in a dynamic and competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, and media professionals across national and regional platforms.
- Identify and pitch story ideas to relevant media to generate earned coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
- Draft quality press releases, authored articles, media statements, backgrounders, FAQs, and other PR collaterals.
- Support in planning and executing media campaigns around product launches, funding announcements, brand partnerships, and leadership profiling.
- Track daily news across sectors (auto-tech, startups, mobility, finance, etc.) and identify proactive PR opportunities.
- Liaise with PR agencies and ensure timely execution of deliverables as and when needed.
- Maintain and update media coverage trackers, databases, and performance reports.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PR or corporate communications (agency or in-house).
- Strong network of media contacts, especially in business, startup, tech, and auto sectors.
- Excellent writing and editing skills ability to craft compelling, media-ready content.
- Well-versed with industry trends and the evolving media landscape.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
