Job Description
Must Have:
- Minimum 5+ years SAP industry experience, SAP S4/HANA.
- Hands-on experience in software development across multiple modules including writing technical specifications and performing code reviews in ABAP and ABAP Objects.
- Overall experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions in S4/HANA.
- Expertise in (WRICEF Objects) Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Adobe Forms, OO-ABAP, OData, CDS Views, Custom applications using Dialog programming (Module Pool)
- Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP RICEFW such as ABAP on Hana, CDS views, BOPF, using Eclipse ADT
- Hands-on experience in API development using CDS.
- Knowledge/Experience in Web Services, Proxies, Restful ABAP programming
- Knowledge/Experience Building OData Services using SEGW Gateway Project Builder and CDS views using Annotations.
- Hand-on experience in building interfaces to Non-SAP Applications leveraging RFCs, BAPIs, ALE/IDOC, ODATA and Web Services
- Hands-on experience to consume external OData Services and RestAPIs directly in ABAP using HTTP and REST Client and serialize/deserialize the JSON/XML data to/from ABAP dictionary
- Experience with ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to implement code quality checks and secure coding.
- Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner
- Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test, and debug programs.
- Candidate will be expected to development experience across Core ABAP concepts such as: aspects:
- Data Dictionary, Reports, ALV, Functional Modules, Dynamic Programming, Module pool, Enhancements, BADIs, Customer Exits, BAPIs, OOPS, BDC, LSMW, SmartForms, Data Upload Programs, IDOCs, Business Objects, Workflow etc
- Experience in leading the technical discussions and provide directions during design and development processes.
- Extensively worked in Debugging SAP Programs, Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, Performance Tuning, SAP Change and Transport System.
- Extensively worked on preparing Technical Specifications, Unit Test plans, Code Review and Documentation
- Strong analytical, Unit Testing, trouble shooting skills, excellent team player and quick learner
- Experience to work in onsite / offshore model
- Good team player / Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
- Experience in an Agile environment will be preferred
- Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of UI5 / Fiori development
- Knowledge of SAP workflow, Webdynpro, and BOPF is preferred.
- Experience in SAP TRBK / SAP Banking modules.
