Job Description
A Solidity developer is responsible for developing Ethereum-based applications with smart contracts. They build smart contracts in decentralized applications (dApps) and are responsible for the development of new features and enhancements in existing blockchain projects.
Here s a job description:
- Responsible for a full cycle of blockchain development
- Coordinate with the executives and engineering department to establish, execute, and achieves business objectives
- Map out business requirements related to blockchain system architecture and system module design
- Develop code and audit smart contract
- Audit transactions and statistics to identify and prioritize areas of development
- Developing smart contracts and back-end web services that can be linked with various blockchain technologies
As a Solidity Developer, your main job would be to create, maintain, and modify decentralized applications, or DApps, for the Ethereum blockchain.
- You would be responsible for writing the code in the high-level programming language Solidity, which is used to create smart contracts
- You need to be proficient in Core Ethereum concepts such as gas, mining, and consensus algorithms
- You should also have a good understanding of blockchains, distributed ledger technologies, and the development tools used in the Ethereum environment
- You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop a secure, reliable, and robust solution
- You will be responsible for testing the code and deploying it to the Testnet and Mainnet.
- You should be familiar with debugging tools and know how to troubleshoot issues.
- You should also have a good understanding of security principles, cryptography, and data structures.
- You should be able to conduct vulnerability assessments and be familiar with different attack vectors.
Solidity developers are essentially responsible for building smart contracts in the decentralized application which is based on Ethereum including other EVM blockchains.
- Development and management of decentralized applications and smart contracts
- Development of network architecture and security standards
- Planning and development of new features and blockchain-based projects
- Integration of Solidity codes on multiple platforms
- Developing highly secure technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of Solidity, JavaScript, JSON, and Node.js
- Basic knowledge of C++, Python, and JavaScript
- Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology and its concepts
- Experience in developing smart contracts
- Experience in designing blockchain projects and apps
- Proficiency in ERC20, ERC721, and other protocols
- Understanding of cryptography
- Understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in high-quality yet tested Solidity smart contracts
- Good understanding of cryptocurrency tokens and decentralized applications (dApps)
- Good understanding of blockchain-related projects, implementation principles, and fundamentals of smart contract
- Experience in building website services
- Ability to coordinate with and manage remote teams
