Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Consultant with hands-on experience in ThingWorx development for manufacturing use cases. The ideal candidate will assist in developing mashups, services, and integrations with shop floor systems and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of ThingWorx mashups (line charts, bar graphs, trends, compare trends, data export, etc.)
- Support the creation and maintenance of services and functionalities within ThingWorx
- Integrate data from shop floor systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA) using OPC UA or Modbus TCP/IP protocols
- Participate in unit testing and script execution
- Assist in deployment and migration of ThingWorx applications across versions
- Work with Azure cloud and Blob storage for data handling
- Collaborate with teams to integrate ThingWorx with SAP, SQL Server, third-party applications, and flat/excel files
Required Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of ThingWorx platform
- Familiarity with OPC UA and Modbus TCP/IP protocols
- Understanding of mashup development and UI components
- Exposure to Java and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and Blob storage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
