Job Description
Job Title: Civil Consultant FTC (6 Months)
Location: Gurgaon (with travel to client sites as required)
Engagement Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months)
Background Required:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 35 years of experience in construction audits, site verification/ survey, BOQ analysis.
- Experience in retail or QSR projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against store drawings and layouts.
- Conduct site visits to verify actual work completed by vendors.
- Assess whether work has been executed in accordance with BOQ specifications and approved drawings.
- Perform rate benchmarking for BOQ items using market standards and historical data.
- Identify discrepancies or overstatements in vendor claims and report findings.
- Collaborate with internal audit and risk teams to support documentation and reporting.
- Provide technical insights to support client discussions and decision-making.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices and BOQ analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report writing.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
