Job Description
- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of data engineers. Drive the development and execution of large-scale data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
- AWS Data Solutions : Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data solutions in AWS. Implement Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services to meet business requirements.
- Data Modelling and ETL Processes : Develop and optimize data models and ETL processes. Implement data warehousing solutions and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Python Development : Utilize Python for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Develop high-quality, maintainable code for various data applications and automation tasks.
- Data Integration and Pipeline Management : Build and manage data pipelines. Ensure seamless data integration from various sources into Azure, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
- Performance Tuning : Monitor and optimize the performance of data solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand needs and deliver effective data solutions.
- Stay Current : Keep abreast of the latest developments in data engineering, Azure cloud services, and Python programming. Implement best practices and emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Qualifications : Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
Proven expertise in Python programming for data tasks.
Strong experience with Azure data technologies (eg, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).
Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Proven expertise in Python programming for data tasks.
Strong experience with Azure data technologies (eg, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).
