Job Description
Job Title: Workday Extend Developer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Extend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Workday Extend applications to enhance our Workday system functionality. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday s architecture, integrations, and best practices, along with expertise in Workday Extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Workday Extend applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Workday Extend solutions.
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ensure adherence to Workday best practices and security guidelines.
- Perform unit testing and support end-to-end testing for new applications and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
- Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features to optimize system performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday, including Workday Extend development.
- Strong understanding of Workday integration technologies such as Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with Workday Security, Business Process Framework, and Reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Workday Extend certification (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
