Maintenance of drug stock outside pharmacy

• Crash cart maintenance
• Proper labeling of drug containers
• Proper segregation and stacking of drugs
• Temp monitoring of drugs
• Expiry check
• Stock check
• Ensure No Kcl (except COT), conc. Nacl on floor
• Ensure narcotics are kept in double lock

Prescription oversight for

• Drug allergies
• Drug interactions
• Monitoring of Antibiotic usages as per antibiotic policy of the Hospital
• Reporting medication errors to the Clinical Pharmacologist

Others

• Issue & Return of Material against Patient indents from Stores and against Departmental indents
• Direct Issue of drugs/ medical consumable to Patient
• Issue of Narcotics as per protocols
• Receiving the material at Receiving Bay & Processing of Invoices
• Emergency Cash Purchase
• Receipt of consignment goods & Processing their Invoices on Consumption
• Physical Stock Verification
• Sale & return of material in OP Pharmacy
• Drug Expiry control and checking expires of medicine before dispensing to patients
