Job Description
We are DJ Alexander with a legacy of 40 years in Scotland. A rapidly progressing property management organisation redefining the industry with sheer innovation by introducing a software that will revolutionize and redefine property management!
We have had an exciting journey over the last 2 years in Pune building this software from scratch and have a lot more to pursue after the MVP is launched. Given the journey and the subsequent growth coming our way we would like to add a Scrum Master to strengthen our team and act as a bridge between our UK and India counterparts.

Job Description:
Reports to: CTO
Works collaboratively with Technical Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and organise the technical team in conjunction with the Technical Manager, guided by the CTO
- Lead the software development life cycle process
- Own and coordinates the continuous delivery process
- Own all aspects of product delivery
- Implement processes, practices and tools that allow for multiple paths of delivery
- Create and manage simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies
Specifically:
- Develop exceptional product knowledge
- Facilitate all technical activities and meetings
- Own JIRA, including the product backlog, epics and releases
- Prioritise roadmaps and tasking with the Technical Manager, CTO and Product Owner
- Own Sprint planning for both Dev and DevOps
- Lead idea generation and innovation to find system-wide solutions
- Identify issues, clarify goals and break tasks down into achievable chunks
- Provide teams and sub teams with frameworks for self-organisation, according to product requirements
- Track and manage task completion, facilitating coordination and removal of blockers and managing appropriate quality assurance
- Track and report on team performance including agile metrics
- Own and manage retrospectives, facilitating team learning
- Own the risk process
- Build a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on collective learning and improvement
- Recommend and manage improvements in all areas of responsibility
- Manage resource availability and allocation, highlighting issues as early as possible
- Lead and influence others (including those more senior) on best practices

Qualifications/Experience:
- Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- Role held for 5 years +
- Excellent knowledge of JIRA
- Can demonstrate exceptional knowledge of agile project management methodologies and appropriate frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
