About the Role:

The Web Designer at EaseMyTrip.com is responsible for creating attractive and functional websites. This job requires knowledge in web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as design tools such as Photoshop. The designer will make websites that work well on various devices and browsers, keep up with new trends in web design, and work closely with team members to complete projects on time. This role is ideal for someone creative who enjoys problem-solving.


Role & responsibilities:

  1. Expertise in Web Development Tools: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Notepad++; experience with graphic design software like Photoshop and Dreamweaver is essential.
  2. Responsive Design Skills: Ability to create web designs that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
  3. Advanced HTML Capabilities: Strong understanding of DIV-based HTML construction to ensure structured, maintainable, and SEO-friendly markup.
  4. JavaScript and jQuery Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery to enhance web functionalities and user interaction.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a team setting to contribute to project goals and milestones.
  6. Wireframe and Prototype Development: Skilled in developing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to guide project development.
  7. Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve design and functionality issues creatively.
  8. Up-to-Date with Latest Trends: Must be knowledgeable about current web trends like CSS Flex and Grid, and stay updated with new technologies.
  9. Browser Compatibility Solutions: Capable of crafting solutions that ensure compatibility across various browsers.
  10. Quality Assurance and Testing: Responsible for testing the website to identify and rectify any technical issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Preferred candidate profile:

  1. Proven Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio of design projects.
  2. Technical Skill Set: Hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Photoshop.
  3. Design and User Experience Focus: Solid experience in creating visually appealing web templates, and comprehensive knowledge in user interface and user experience design.
  4. Detail-Oriented Approach: Attention to detail with a knack for visual composition and layout.
  5. Innovative Thinking: Ability to solve design and usability challenges creatively and effectively.
  6. Adaptability to Trends: Keeps up-to-date with the evolving web technologies and design trends.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills to manage technical challenges and browser compatibility issues.
  8. Timeliness and Quality Focus: Commitment to deliver high-quality work within designated timelines.
  9. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for teamwork and project documentation.
  10. Educational Background: Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
