Job Description

Role: Quality Inspector (Only from Manufacturing, OEM, Automation Industry)

Work Location: Bangalore (Electronic City)

JD:

Qualification:

Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical/production engineering or relevant field

Experience:

• Perform inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process parts, and final products as per control plans and quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM, and surface testers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and material specifications.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming parts and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Maintain proper documentation of inspection results, checklists, and reports.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation (8D, 5 Why, CAPA).
• Assist in first article inspection (FAI) and PPAP documentation (if applicable).
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Report any quality trends, abnormalities, or deviations to the QA/QC lead or manager.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure corrective measures.

Technical Skillset

• Hands-on experience with basic and advanced measuring tools.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, ISO standards, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems or QMS software is a plus
• Experience in precision engineering components.
• Exposure to PPAP, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
