IBM Sterling OMS Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, solution design, and technical strategy for IBM Sterling OMS implementations and enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable OMS solutions.
- Define and design end-to-end order workflows, fulfillment processes, inventory management, payment processing, and reverse logistics.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams for solution alignment.
- Oversee integrations between OMS and external systems (eCommerce platforms, ERP, WMS, Payment Gateways, etc.) using APIs, MQ, and middleware.
- Provide technical leadership and best practices for Sterling OMS configurations, customizations, and performance tuning.
- Ensure solution compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Guide and mentor development teams during implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with IBM Sterling OMS product roadmap and recommend relevant enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS (v9.x or later), including architecture, design, and development.
- Strong knowledge of order orchestration, inventory management, sourcing, and fulfillment capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Sterling OMS configurations, APIs, user exits, services, and integration components.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, XML, XSLT, Web Services, and MQ.
- Experience integrating Sterling OMS with eCommerce platforms, ERPs, WMS, and payment processors.
- Familiarity with cloud deployments, Kubernetes, and microservices is a plus.
- Ability to conduct performance analysis and optimization for Sterling OMS solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills."
