Job Description
- As an Algorithm Research & Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions in the field of computer vision and image processing. With a minimum of 3-14 years of experience, you should be proficient in C++, image processing, computer vision, Open GL, and Open CL. Your primary focus will be on researching, designing, and implementing algorithms to address complex challenges in the domain. To excel in this role, you must have a strong educational background from Tier-1 colleges like IIT, IIIT, VIT, NIT, and possess expertise in subjects related to computer vision. Additionally, you should be a collaborative team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A passion for rapid prototyping algorithms using MATLAB or Python is desired, along with the ability to implement algorithms in C++ software on Linux platforms. Candidates with prior experience in OpenCL, OpenGL, or OpenCV, and a background in sensor fusion, linear and nonlinear optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU programming frameworks, and data analysis and visualization tools will be preferred. Working in a product company environment is a prerequisite, as individuals from engineering product companies are more likely to be selected for this role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in Chennai, India, focusing on AI-enabled semiconductor inspection equipment. You will collaborate with AI and HPC centers of excellence, contribute to product roadmaps through applied R&D, drive innovation through hackathons and engineering conferences, and enhance the technical IP portfolio through patent filings.
