Job Description

Position: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Nagpur/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore
Type of Employment: Fulltime
Purpose of Position:
As a Data Analyst, this role requires a candidate who is enthusiastic about data and driven to help solve the organisation s analytics challenges. As a member of the team, you will support our clients on their data and analytics journey by analyzing data, identifying trends, and generating insights to drive informed decision-making. You will also work on improving data consistency and ensuring that the necessary infrastructure and pipelines are in place to support analytics platforms.
Key Result Areas and Activities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Aggregate, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that address key business challenges.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis, recommending improvements based on findings.
Reporting and Visualization: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels. Present data-driven insights through compelling visualizations and narratives to support decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external clients to understand their analytics needs and deliver tailored solutions. Communicate complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Work and Technical Expertise:
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings effectively
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights
  • A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation
  • Strong Experience in Retail industry is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master s degree is a plus)
  • Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
Qualities:
  • Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team and firm
  • Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations
  • Able to consult, write, and present persuasively
  • Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team
