Job Description
- Total experience 7+ years.
- Strong working experience as a DBA (MySQL).
- Expertise in MySQL internals, HA, clustering, and replication, Performance tuning and diagnostics, Backup/restore mechanisms, Monitoring and alerting tools and Security hardening and logging.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix OS, SQL/PLSQL scripting, Bash, Python scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
- Experience in Agile teams and workflows.
- Hands on experience in MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and maintain MySQL database infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
- Handle patching, upgrades, security configurations, and monitoring of MySQL environments.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize slow queries and support performance-intensive workloads.
- Work closely with DevOps and Application teams on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Manage database migrations across multiple environments.
- Maintain compliance with data governance and auditing standards.
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
