Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will lead architecture discussions, develop prototypes, and guide engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of enterprise-level Java applications.
- Define technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor and guide development teams on complex technical issues and design patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture, design decisions, and integrations.
- Plan for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Proven experience in designing microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA, Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and practices (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
- Certifications in cloud technologies or Java (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Professional, etc.).
- Exposure to Frontend technologies such as Angular or React (optional).
