Job Description:
Snowflake Data Engineer As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Snowflake data warehouse. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines in Snowflake.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
Optimize and tune Snowflake queries for performance.
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing.
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide necessary support.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline and Snowflake performance issues.
Implement data security and compliance measures in accordance with company policies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Snowflake and data engineering. Requirements:
7+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
Proficiency in Oracle (PL/SQL)
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with data modeling and schema design.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake certification.
Experience with Python or other programming languages.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with data governance and data cataloging tools.
