Job Description

Kubernetes

General

-SRE / service experience covering key components of Azure platform

-Good understanding of hub and spoke topology

-Knowledge of security practices for cloud-native applications, including identity and access management, and network security

-Proficient in using monitoring tools to ensure system reliability

-Ability to automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues quickly

-Track record of implementing toil reduction solutions

-Experience of working in an Agile framework

-Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

K8 specifics

-Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and management

-Istio knowledge e.g. configuration, interaction with networking solutions

-Hands on knowledge of other AKS add-ons e.g. RBAC manager, Kured, Cert Manager

-Hands on experience of using IaC to deploy/maintain AKS resources
