The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Role & responsibilities

- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Preferred candidate profile

• 8+ years experience with strong hands-on skills in C#, ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, ADO, ORM (Entity Framework, Dapper), and Containers
• 3+ years in cloud architecture and implementation
• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in migration and modernization of .NET Framework applications to .NET.
• Knowledge of various modernization strategies, such as rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring.
• Experience in designing and developing cloud-native applications on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google etc.).
• AWS experience required, with proficiency in one or more AWS services such as EC2, Beanstalk, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CDK.NET, and AWS SDK for .NET.
• Experience working in agile software development environments utilizing automated build-test-deploy pipelines.
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
