Job Description
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests. As a Senior QA Tester with 6+ years of experience, you will be based at our Mangalore office in India. At EG Construction, we cover the full Construction Industry value chain with our products and have the strongest coverage in the Nordic Market. We develop and deliver off the shelf software that supports every stage of a building project. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing functional test plans and automated test cases, developing Automation Framework, and writing/executing Selenium test scripts with Python/Java/C#. You should have proficiency in writing end-to-end (E2E) tests using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. It is essential to execute automated tests, analyze results, and report any defects or issues in JIRA. Collaborating with product owners and development teams to ensure test automation strategies align with business goals will be part of your role. Staying updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices is crucial, along with documenting testing processes, test plans, and test cases. Providing feedback and recommendations to improve product quality is also expected. Experience with performance testing, exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration, API testing tools like Postman, familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as pytest, and the ability to define and improve QA processes, test plans, and best practices are considered good to have skill sets.
